What is it all about?

So, I'm not sure how ppl go about this. I've only read one blog in my life, and it is of this  very cool, adorable person Kandee Johnson(sorry if i mispelled the name), who is this AMAZING makeup artist, and who has a life, and I...well dont =) Just busy with school and work.

So I'm doing a project in English right now, about whether or not troops should be pulled out of Afghanistan, and one of the main things I've found during my research, is that most ppl dont even understand what the army is still doing there, or why they went in the first place. I for one, am one of them. It's funny thinking that i'm leaning towards a field I know nothing about, and up until maybe 3months ago, didn't feel passionate or care about anything to do with the subject of politics.

Just got to through this in, but i think my cat's having a seisure....ok no he's fine...must just be fleas!

So back to the troops. Why are they there? When and/or Will they be deployed back home?

The "why" starts back (from what I understand) to the unfortunate event of 9/11 that took place in New York and the Pentagon (not sure where that is...Washington DC??, and of course the the plane that hit a Pennsylvania field, sending the troops into Afghanistan to find Osama Bin Laden who was behind the attack. Now, I dont know if Osama is still in hiding in one of the many caves there, but for 6 yrs, troops have been there, and I know I dont have all the details, but it doesnt seem like much good is coming out of their presence there. They're suppose to be capturing all the Al-Quaida and Taliban, to prevent another attack like that of 9/11 attack,  which President Obama stated was most definately on their agenda, but the al-quaida and taliban, continue to lay in hiding, around Afghanistan and Pakistan. Our troops, ( I say 'our' as a whole collection of democratic countries troops, all those fighting the same war), are stuck in constant danger, many dying from random suicide bombers (some unsuspected attackers, like women and children). Is there presence creating unnecessary death amoung our troops, and innocents, and or resentment from the afghani ppl, which, when we finally concede and come home, will attack a democratic country( such as United States/Canada/Britain...ect.) when our defences are down,  some many years down the road??

The "When" is something else entirly. When I was listening to Obamas' (President of USA) speech and Harpers' (Prime Minister of Canada) speech, all I remember hearing is that "All troops will be deployed by the end of 2011"...and there I was thinking "Great!! Think of all those ppl who will be reunited with their loved ones, the families that can now sleep peacefully at night, instead of living in the constant fear that they'll be receiving an unlucky knock on the door." But then now while I'm researching, these speeches are flowing by, over and over again, and the words have changed....Yes the troops will be deployed by the end of  2011....from Iraq...so that they will be able to spare more troops in the fight against terrorism in Afghanistan! Wait?! What?!? So they give up the fight in Iraq but are still about this seemingly never ending war in Afghanistan, keeping all these troops fighting a war, majority of ppl in North America, aren't paying attention too...or even know is still ineffect?!?
So "Will" these troops ever be done with this, or are they in this until, either they are maimed, or death takes them??

I dunno, If any of you reading this know more about this subjest, I would love to hear what you have to say. Help me understand, show me points I missed or misunderstood.

Hope your all having a wonderful weekend.

Peace and Love everybody

Hello Fellow Bloggers!!!

Hi, everybody who's reading this! This is very new to me, and I'm sure my blogs will get better with time. I'm not a very open person, and I need some form of therapy, of getting things off my mind. Judging from how I write with my friends(the ppl I don't care how I sound too =) ) I'm a very random person, hence the name of this blog. I hope this becomes something worth reading one day. The whole idea of ppl reading this really excites me. So, I'm almost late for class, and just wanted to welcome myself and all of you to this blog. We'll see where things go. I love feedback, but I prefer it to be contructional not negative. Thanks to all who come read and enjoy. I hope you keep reading, once I get started on here! Oh and my apologies for my AWFUL spelling...I wonder if this thing has spell check?? hmmm Well anyway...

Have an amazing day everybody!!!
